Jannik Sinner defends at the ATP Finals, again without losing a set, beating his chief rival #1 Carlos Alcaraz. The final was fine, even quite good at times, albeit a bit momentum-less; but hey, they can’t all be classics. Novak makes some valid points about Sinner’s doping case – yes, well-tread territory to be fair – and gets subtweeted by Darren Cahill for his troubles. Plus, Aryna is displeased with Nike (which itself seems indifferent to tennis), and we take a quick tangent into health care and politics.

Why do you continue to comment if you ”doubt we will bother to read this?” We read your (multiple) comments about the same topic, we just don’t agree. This will never be the podcast you’re looking for, regardless of how many passive-aggressive comments you leave. Move on.

I doubt you will bother to read this, but guys it is not OK to spend more time rehashing the suspension story than actually commenting on how Sinner played in Torino. I gather you don’t like him. Carlos is better looking and loses to random people more. Still not OK to rub more salt in something that triggered another episode for somebody that has struggled with mental health issues before. You are acting like ”that guy” here. It happened, Sinner ”served time” for something that garners lower ranked players no suspension. Move on.
